Sustrans Cymru Ranger Events list

I look forward to seeing you on one of these events. If you are holding your own events please let me know because I would love to hear what you are doing and maybe I will be able to come along. I may also be able to help you promote your event to a wider audience.

July – December 2007

This year events fall into one of 3 categories. Wales Working Ride (WWR), Workdays (WD) and Events (E).

WWR's – A "Wales Working Rides" day is where we select different parts of the National Cycle Network (NCN) to audit and do minor maintenance on. You don't have to be an Olympic cyclist to come along and you can join us (or leave us) on route. Please register with the Sustrans office in Cardiff, tel: 029 2066 2319 (this is very important because the rides may be subject to change). They will give you full details of meeting places and times. The rides will usually start around 10.30am and finish by 4.00pm.

Workdays & Work camps - These can vary from vegetation clearance to litter picking, to building and improving routes

Events – Rides, celebrations, festivals.
